The Hoover Max Extract Dual V carpet steam cleaner is designed for ease-of-use. It harnesses the power of a 12 amp motor, and cleans carpets by applying, scubbing, and then removing hot tap-water & carpet cleaning solution. The machine has a wide path which allows for 20% more cleaning and brushing, and has heated-cleaning to improve the quality of cleaning by forcing air from the motor into the carpet.
To remove as much water as possible, the Dual V technology ensures that there is equal suction across the whole cleaning path. Carpet fibers are cleaned closely by rotating brushes which can be popped out when they need to be rinsed off.
There are 3 cleaning speeds to choose from – power scrub mode, gentle scrub mode, and spill pick up mode. There are various on-board tools that come with the machine, these include a removable tool caddy, and upholstery/stairs tool, and a long-reach hose measuring 8-feet.

The water tank is very easy to clean and refill. The machine itself is rather heavy so it’s a good thing they didn’t make the tank any bigger. The unit seems to have been designed rather intelligently.
The size of the tank can be very advantageous if you have large areas to clean. Also, the vacuum sucks up the cleaning solution and water on the carpet powerfully and it tends to dry very fast.
This is a great machine to use if you have carpets that require regular cleaning and maintenance.
